Join us at an informal community gathering to introduce The Fife Arms’ current Artist in Residence, Orlando Mostyn Owen, where we will discuss Orlando’s work and his experiences of living, working and creating in the Cairngorms over the last month.

Orlando has travelled from Paris, at the invitation of Iwan and Manuela Wirth, to capture the landscapes and people of this remarkable place through his uniquely expressive sketches and paintings. His work has been described by Philip Roth as ‘Savage in its own quiet way. Or quiet in its own savage way’, and is held in numerous private, as well as, French national collections.

Come along, introduce yourself and find out more about what has captured Orlando’s creative imagination during the first month of his residency on Royal Deeside.

Please note the venue is at The Invercauld Arms Hotel. Light refreshments will be provided and entry is free – no booking required.
