Lying in a natural amphitheatre created by the imposing Grampian Mountains and part of the magnificent Cairngorms National Park, Braemar is the home of Scotland’s highest and wildest golf course, where play is watched by endangered ospreys, watchful stags and rare red squirrels.

A great 18-hole course, it is suitable for all levels of experience, but for beginners who want to try their hand at this ancient sport, personal instructors are available too. A round at Braemar golf course costs £45 per guest.
