IN CONVERSATION
The fascinating heritage and enduring contemporary relevance of the iconic kimono garment were explored in the company of leading Japanese-Swiss fashion designer Kazu Huggler, who was in conversation with curators Kirsty Hassard (V&A Dundee) and Georgina Ripley (National Museums of Scotland). They discussed the social, cultural, and design inspirations behind Kazu’s practice and the garments featured in the landmark exhibition Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk, which was on view at V&A Dundee.
