We are delighted to announce the return of the Braemar Literary Festival in 2026 for its fifth year from 25th to 27th September 2026.
Established in 2022 in collaboration with The Queen’s Reading Room, Braemar Literary Festival honours the literary heritage of Scotland and the Cairngorms as the inspiration for generations of writers, poets and creative thinkers.
With contributions from internationally renowned authors, poets, critics and spoken word performers and guest writers from the Queen’s Reading Room and the Women’s Prize Trust, turn the page on your next big adventure and visit us in our storybook setting in Braemar.
We’re crafting a stellar line up for 2026 and look forward to unveiling an inspiring programme of authors, thinkers, storytellers and cultural voices.
