This summer enjoy a distinctly royal visit to the Fife Arms with a truly unique opportunity to tour selected interior rooms within Balmoral Castle, the Scottish home of the Royal Family.
Originally purchased for Queen Victoria by Prince Albert in 1852, our guests have been granted exclusive access to private guided tours of the Castle during the summer opening period.
Enjoy a private transfer from the Fife Arms through the spectacular scenery of Royal Deeside to Balmoral, where you will be treated to a historical journey through several of the beautiful rooms within the Castle, offering an up-close look at Royal life.
During your visit discover the history of the castle and how it has been loved by generations of the Royal Family, from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, through to the present day, where rooms within the Castle are used today by Their Majesties The King and Queen and members of the Royal Family.
Following the tour, enjoy a guided woodland walk in the Cairngorms National Park with one of our Ghillie team and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area whilst learning more about its rich history.
To make the experience even more memorable, during our weekday tours you can enjoy a Champagne Afternoon Tea served at leisure at the Fife Arms, whilst on Saturdays you will begin your day with a delicious lunch at our sister restaurant FISH SHOP in nearby Ballater, officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Camilla in 2023.
