Summer Solstice Weaving Workshop

Create a handwoven midsummer bracelet or bookmark – no experience needed.

Inspired by the colours of Braemar in full summer bloom, this relaxed workshop introduces you to the gentle craft of band weaving. You’ll learn to use contrasting linen threads and simple wooden tools to build a satisfying repeating pattern, the same technique Celtic weavers used long ago. Whether you choose the purples of heather, the yellows of gorse, or something else entirely, you’ll finish the session with a soft, beautiful piece to take home and treasure.

Book Your Place

The workshop is free to attend and all supplies will be provided. All are welcome, however, we recommend this activity for ages 7 and up, in the company of a parent or guardian.
