Braemar and Scotland has been the inspiration for many artists, fashion designers, poets and authors over the years. Taking inspiration from these, and wanting to celebrate both historic works as well as future talent, the Fife Arms launched the Braemar Literary Festival in 2022 and Festival of Fashion in 2023.
The Braemar Literary Festival, curated and staged by the Fife Arms in collaboration with The Queen’s Reading Room, was established in 2022 and returned for its fifth chapter from 25th – 27th September 2026.
