We are delighted to announce the return of the Braemar Literary Festival in 2025 for its fourth year from 26th to 28th September.
Established in 2022 in collaboration with The Queen’s Reading Room, Braemar Literary Festival honours the literary heritage of Scotland and the Cairngorms as the inspiration for generations of writers, poets and creative thinkers.
With contributions from internationally renowned novelists, food writers, historians, artists, actors and guest writers from the Queen’s Reading Room and the Women’s Prize Trust, turn the page on your next big adventure and visit us in our storybook setting in Braemar.
We have a stellar line up for 2025 and are delighted to be joined by acclaimed author and actor Sir Stephen Fry, prolific and best-loved author Sir Alexander McCall Smith, bestselling writer Monica Ali and the author/screenwriter of global sensation ‘One Day’, David Nicholls. Food writer and critic Tom Parker Bowles also returns alongside restaurant critic and columnist Giles Coren, as part of our fantastic literary line up plus many more.
