What To Expect

The walk will be on Glen Ey, on Mar Estate and is a gentle trail, solid underfoot, which lasts approximately 45 minutes. Suitable attire we recommend include layers, sturdy shoes and waterproofs may be necessary. If we have bad weather then our guide will put up a canvas tent for shelter. In keeping with the Victorian theme of the experience, our guides will be dressed in kilts and tweeds and we encourage guests to join in if they so wish.

All guests are welcome to take the lead and guide the horses if you’d like to.

The picnic supplied is chosen by you from our menu at the hotel and is an additional cost.
