Earth Day

This year, we’re celebrating Earth Day with a drop-in floral art workshop and a guided tour of the Fife Arms garden.

Join the Earth Day workshop and create a unique picture with pressed flowers which have been grown and gathered locally. A wonderful opportunity to express your creativity in honour of Earth Day, the workshop will be led by Nessa Green, a floral artist, gardener and plantswoman who trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh.

The workshop will take place in the Activity Room in the Brae Wing from 11am-1pm, is free to attend, and all are welcome. Please contact Reception at reception@thefifearms.com to book your place.

Garden Tour

Join Fife Arms gardener, Roos Dijkhuizen, for a guided tour of the hotel gardens at 2pm on Earth Day, Wednesday 22nd April.

The garden was designed by Jinny Blom, a Chelsea Flower Show medallist who has also created gardens for HM King Charles III and Laurent Perrier. Her design is an extension of the landscape beyond the hotel, including native trees and plants such as birch, rowan, azaleas and rhododendrons, while a colourful wildflower meadow sits at the bottom of the garden.

The tour is free to attend and will begin at 2pm. Please meet at the top of the stairs to the garden, found through the courtyard and outside the Albamhor Treatment Rooms.
