The Braemar Literary Festival returns for its fifth year. The stellar line up for 2026 will be unveiled soon, including an inspiring programme of authors, thinkers, storytellers and cultural voices.

About The Festival

Established in 2022 in collaboration with The Queen’s Reading Room, Braemar Literary Festival honours the literary heritage of Scotland and the Cairngorms as the inspiration for generations of writers, poets and creative thinkers.

With contributions from internationally renowned authors, poets, critics and spoken word performers and guest writers from the Queen’s Reading Room and the Women’s Prize Trust, turn the page on your next big adventure and attend the event set in the storybook setting of Braemar.
