Whisky and Food Pairing

A former team member at the Fife Arms and Bertie’s Bar, Mikael Moussa leads on this experience combining wood fired cooking and foraged goods with paired whiskies for each course.

Situated just a 5 minute drive from the hotel, set in a beautiful canvas tent with amazing views of the Cairngorms National Park. The tent is warm and cosy with sheepskin rugs, blankets and comfortable chairs.

The Fife Arms' Whisky Bar

Opened in May 2021, Bertie’s Whisky Bar has fast become an iconic whisky destination. It is inspired and named after Queen Victoria’s eldest son, King Edward VII, known for his appetite for life, extravagance and excessive spirit in every sense.

On entering Bertie’s, guests are welcomed with over 500 whiskies all arranged by flavour profile; Fragrant fruity, rich and smoky.
