Landscape Inspired Jewellery Workshop

with Katy Fennema and Naomi McIntosh

27th April 2019, 9.30 AM – 1.30 PM

Katy Fennema and Naomi McIntosh both have a passion for landscape and live in the Cairngorms National Park. As a local guide Katy loves to share her knowledge for the outdoors and is qualified as a Hill and Moorland Leader to guide people into the hills and glens of Scotland.

Naomi is a designer that works with natural materials and is obsessive about details, repetition, pattern and lines. She makes dynamic, playful pieces of architectural and structural jewellery that explore space and the relationship between the wearer and object.

In this special workshop, create your own unique piece of wooden jewellery by taking inspiration from the landscape of the Cairngorms. Use processes that Naomi uses in her studio to celebrate beautiful, sustainably sourced Scottish woods. Make your own choice of forms and patterns by selecting the wooden elements, creating options for endless unique configurations. Use paints to mix your own colour palate, resulting in a personal neckpiece.

Tickets: £45 per person (including all materials) and can be booked HERE
