Braemar is situated at the centre of the Cairngorms National Park and is only a 1.5 hour drive from Aberdeen airport following the stunning River Dee throughout the route. The town of Braemar and surrounding areas of North East Scotland offer plenty of activities for your trip whether you are visiting for a couple of days or a couple of weeks.

From local musical events at St. Margaret’s Church, skiing in Glenshee, salmon fishing on the Invercauld Estate and dining at Braemar Lodge, you will find a suitable activity for everyone. There’s even a bit of retail therapy available offering a variety of Scottish crafts and wares.
